Travel throws off your immunity, digestion, and skin quicker than you think 🫠 so packing with your health in mind is essential! I’m writing this from the airport as I begin a 4-week travel extravaganza! My husband and I are traveling with our seminary class to the Holy Land, and from there headed back to our hometown for Christmas. As excited as we are, I know that we need to be prudent in caring for our bodies along the way. So here is a little peak into my suitcase... travel must-haves for health + skin on the go!
My Dynamic Immunity Duo
Keeping my XClear Nasal Spray + Beekeepers Naturals Propolis Immune Support on me at all times is the best way to be prudent in preventing sickness. Most sickness starts in your nasal passages, and Xlear helps wash out the germs before they can take hold. Beekeeper’s Naturals Propolis provides natural, antioxidant-rich immune support to help your body fight off what’s going around. Paired together, I truly love this as the ultimate stewardship combo.
Electrolytes for Hydration
Electrolytes are honestly a health optimizer even on regular days! But especially when you're traveling, flights, airports, and time zone changes dehydrate you fast. Replenishing minerals keeps your energy, digestion, and skin balanced so you don’t start the trip already feeling rundown. Some of my favorite options are Just Ingredients, Adrenal Cocktail, or for a more cost effective option: DIY Electrolytes (posting a video with the recipe soon).
Keep Up With Your Supplement Lineup
When you're out of routine, it's easy to skip on your typical supplement lineup. But here it from me first: don't let that happen! I am a huge advocate for keeping up with your supplements especially when you're on the go, because this is when your body will really need them the most. Some of my non negotiables are Omegas, Zinc, and Magnesium. (But if you haven't already, make sure to work with a functional nutritionist to figure out exactly what supplements your individual body needs).
Creatine for Cognitive Function
Let's be real, there's a high chance you won't be getting the most optimal sleep while traveling, especially on flight days. Creatine keeps my brain feeling sharp and “there" even when I’m running on fewer hours. It's not a replacement for quality sleep, but when you're in a bind... this is what I'm grabbing.
Barefoot Shoes for Walking
I'm gonna say it loud for the people in the back.... our Shoes should notttt be squishing our feet!!! Barefoot shoes help your body move the way it was designed to: strengthening your feet, improving posture, and supporting overall alignment so you feel better from the ground up. Bonus if they have grounding properties!! I have pairs from Xero Shoes, Angles Fashion, and Bahe.
Primally Pure Jet Set
Because let's be real... airport hygiene is a must. Especially if you're traveling far and wide like we are this season, you want to keep clean. Public transportation exposes you to high-touch surfaces, recycled air, and tight spaces, all of which increase your chances of picking up germs that stress your immune system. That same stress (plus dehydration, poor sleep, and dry cabin air) can trigger skin issues like breakouts, dullness, and irritation, making good hygiene a simple way to protect both your overall health and your skin.
Branch Basics Travel Kit
Airport soaps and hotel detergents just aren't cutting it... enter the Branch Basics Travel Kit. The mini concentrate is perfect for quick laundry, the soap lets you ditch the fragranced public-bathroom options, and the all-purpose covers literally everything else. I use these nonstop in airport bathrooms and hotels.

I always just make sure to drink lots of water! haven't really incorporated electrolytes before so I will have to try. thank you for this!!
